Mr. Matthew J. Landry
Deputy Director
Matthew Landry has been serving as the MCCYWG Deputy Director since August of 2021. From April 2019 until August of 2021 Mr. Landry was detailed to the MCCYWG Deputy Director position while also serving as the Deputy Team Lead for 702CMT. In March of 2016, Mr. Landry reported as a Deputy Team Lead/Operations Officer for Marine Corps Cyberspace Warfare Group.
From 2011 to 2016, Mr. Landry served on active duty with U.S. Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command. During this time he served as the Training and Exercises (G37) office-in-charge (OIC), the Future Plans (G53) OIC, and as the deputy for Plans and Policy (G5). Also during this time Mr. Landry deployed under U.S. Cyber Command as a planner as part of an Expeditionary Cyber Support Element in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
From 1995 to 2011, Mr. Landry served with the U.S. Marine Corps in a number of military intelligence billets. Key assignments include Commanding Officer, CI/HUMINT Company; 4th Marine Regiment Intelligence Officer; Operations Officer for III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) Headquarters Group, III MEF; and platoon commander, 3rd Reconnaissance Company, 3rd Marine Division. Mr. Landry was also enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve from 1988-1993.
Mr. Landry received his bachelor's degree in Political Science from Truman State University. He is pursuing his master's degree in Strategic Intelligence from National Intelligence University. He is also a graduate of the U.S Marine Corps' Amphibious Warfare School and Command and Staff Course. He is a member of the Marine Corps Association.
His military awards include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal (3 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and Joint Service Achievement Medal (2 awards).
